Implemented in version 2.5

The URL property sets a string that is a relative or absolute URL of an Active Server Page (ASP) that can return a Recordset object. This allows creating the Recordset without using the DataFactory object or a similar custom COM component.

The purpose of this property is to allow the use of XML with the DataControl object.

You can create a form on a Web page to input values for the various DataControl properties and use Request.Form( ) to assign the values:
