WSH » WshShortcut » FullName

Syntax:
object[.FullName]

The FullName property is the default property for the WshShortcut object and it returns the full path to the shortcut. This property is read only.

Examples

Code:
objShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
objShtCut = objShell.CreateShortcut
    ("C:\\Documents And Settings\\DevGuru\\Desktop\\Shortcut to Test.vbs.lnk") WScript.Echo(objShtCut.FullName)
Output:
C:\Documents And Settings\DevGuru\Desktop\Shortcut to Test.vbs.lnk
Explanation:

This JScript code opens and displays the full path to a shortcut called "Shortcut to Test.vbs.lnk" on the Windows 2000 Desktop of a user called "DevGuru". Since "\" is the escape character in JScript strings we have to use "\\" in the example code to represent a single "\" character.
